WHAT: Support our Amityville neighbors! 26th Annual Apple Festival , hosted by The Rotary Club of Amityville
WHERE: Park Avenue School Grounds, 140 Park Avenue, Amityville.
WHEN: October 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
MORE DETAILS: Enjoy fresh farm apples by the bag or case, apple pie, apple donuts and fresh apple cider

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9

WHAT: ANNUAL FIRE PREVENTION OPEN HOUSE, hosted by the North Massapequa Fire Department (NMFD)
WHERE: 1000 Broadway
WHEN: October 9, 7 to 9 p.m.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17

WHAT: Massapequa Homecoming Parade
Varsity Football vs Uniondale 2PM
WHERE: Massapequa High Main
WHEN: October 17, Start Time: 12:30 PM

Massapequa Apple Festival, Saturday, October 17, 10am-4pm, Massapequa
The day features Long Island apples, homemade pie, hot dogs, crafts, vendors, music, trash & treasure, and face painting!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24

WHAT: Annual Family Fall and Fun Festival
WHERE: Marjorie Post Park
WHEN: Saturday, October 24, 1pm-4pp
More Details: Features fun activities for children and adults alike, including Halloween crafts, a hayride, bouncies, games, children pick a pumpkin and can decorate it, serving apple cider and popcorn.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25

WHAT: The 41st Annual Children’s Rag-A-Muffin Costume Parade
WHERE: Starting at North Nassau Avenue and North Broadway
WHEN: October 25, starts at 12pm

WHAT: Massapequa High School / SADD Safe Halloween
WHERE: Massapequa High School
WHEN: October 25
MORE DETAILS: Sponsored by the SADD club, otherwise know as Students Against Destructive Decisions. Event gives the children of our community a safe and rewarding


 

Halloween Parade at Brady Park, info TBA: Come on down to the Halloween Parade at Brady Park in Massapequa Park! The parade will begin at 12 Noon and the costume contest judging will start at 1 PM. Hot dogs and soda will be served. In case of rain, the party will be held in the community center, for Village of Massapequa Park residents only.

Fifth Annual Halloween Walk, Date TBD – Drug Free Long Island
