A Star Wars Weekend #Hasbro #giveaway

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hasbro. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.  SEE GIVEAWAY BELOW.

It has been a Star Wars kind of weekend in our house!  We’re gearing up for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the movie I know my kids will make sure we go see as soon as it comes out next month!

The weekend started Friday night with our family visit to Discovery Times Square for the Star Wars and the Power of Costume: The Exhibition.  For more about our night out with these amazing costumes, see our post here.

Saturday continued with catching up on “The Return of the Jedi” on Amazon Prime Video. It always amazes me to watch these films with my kids as I remember watching them when I was a kid like them! When the first Star Wars movie came out, I was eight years old. That is just a bit older than my three boys are now. And when the third film came out, I was a little older than my daughter. Enjoying Star Wars with my kids really brings me back.

Saturday night became Star Wars Game Night in our house. We played the three games that we were invited to sample by Hasbro, and we had a great time. Hasbro has an out-of-this-world line of toys to showcase all of our favorite Star Wars characters and vehicles from the new film The Force Awakens, coming out on December 18.

I think our favorite had to be STAR WARS LOOPIN’ CHEWIE Game.  We loved watching the kids flip the Milennum Falcon and sent Chewbacca flying to watch him hit a Storm Trooper.  They were so excited to knock each other out and try to be the last Storm Trooper standing.

My wife tried the Bop It! R2D2 edition and could not get passed TWO.  No matter how she tried, she couldn’t figure out how to pull it instead of bop it!  The kids and I had her beat right away.

Our 13 year old daughter Juliana enjoyed playing her mom with Electronic Catch Phrase: Star Wars edition, and I enjoyed watching both of them stumble with the Star Wars trivia.  I had to help both of them out and it wound up being me beating myself!  I figure if I let my sons get a try at this game, they can beat the ladies in the house!

See below the giveaway entry form for more details on each of these three games.  And be sure to try your luck at the giveaway to win your own Hasbro Star Wars prize pack!

Influence Central (I-C) is hosting a contest where you can enter to win one of 5 Hasbro Star Wars Prize Packs (each valued at $64.99)! I-C will randomly select 5 winners from all program entries and will handle fulfillment of the winning prizes.
